I got one of these... a long time ago and have sworn by it ever since. It has saved numerous garments from the Goodwill pile - it has worked miracles on any kind of oil stain I have ever gotten on my clothes.

Recently, my daughter had a mishap on a favorite top - she tried Spray n Wash and Shout to try to get the stain out, but nothing did the trick. I whipped out my trusty stubby Janie stick, and like magic, the stain disappeared completely!

It may take a few tries on larger or tough stains - it works even after the stain has set in the washer AND dryer. I swear by this stuff and actually bought TEN of them... to give as Christmas gifts. You will not regret buying this product!!

MUST have for grease!

I have never seen a "dry" stick but to me, it made sense for grease stains. Apparently it works on dairy and other stains too but so far I've used it a lot for already washed and set in grease stains. On my sons green shirt there was a HUGE grease stain on the stomach area that I treated after it had already gone through the wash. I thought the grease stain was set from it being washed and dried, so I applied the dry stick to the stain and left it on for a couple days. The stain is gone! There's a smaller grease stain on the bottom hem that I didn't treat and you can see the difference.

Since fixing the shirt, I've used it on about 8 pairs of my son's sweatpants that had set in grease stains and I've had complete success with all of them. Definitely worth the $9 I paid. It should last a long time because I've used a lot and it still looks the same size. I bought the smaller version to try, which is a great size to keep in your car or your bag. Even being the smaller size, this should last months at the very least. It has a little brush on the end that works well.

This is definitely a staple laundry product so if you're in charge of laundry for your household, or even just your own, save yourself some time with this dry stain stick!

Hard to beat for grease stains!

I can't eat without getting a grease-based splotch on my shirt/pants. This is particularly true if the apparel item is new and never been laundered, or is one of my favorites. The nice thing about Janie stick is that if you need to reapply it several times to remove every last trace of the stain, this will not harm the fabric; it simply leaves a powdery spot that vanishes when you brush it with a napkin or handkerchief.

Usually janie gets it all out, but even if not, it removes enough of the stain so that no trace will remain after a washing. You don't even have to wait till you get home to treat/remove a stain, since Janie stick is small enough to carry with you and not the least bit messy to use.

Janie Dry Stick is the best spot cleaner I have ever used. It does a miraculous job of removing grease spots. It is easy to put in your suitcase, it doesn't have any chemical odors and it has saved the day for me countless times.

Not only would I recommend it to any and everyone, I plan to buy some to put in Christmas stockings this year. It was a relief to find a source for it because my old stick was worn down to a nubbin and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a replacement. It is great stuff!

So pleased with the results I had to write a review immediately.

So I wore a brand new Armani sport coat to dinner a few months ago and realized I got some sort of faint stain on the sleeve. I didn't want to take the coat to the dry cleaners after only wearing it once so I looked for stain removers.

I bought Janie and it sat in my closet for a few months but today I decided to try and use it. It looks like a small piece of chalk, and I applied it thoroughly all over the stain. 3 minutes later, I brushed it off and it looked perfect! Absolutely amazing, I will recommend to everyone.

Excellent product, works well.

This particular product is excellent. I often take tour groups to all parts of the world. I've had experience with pizza in Italy, fish in Norway, and food in Asia as well. If I have a spill in my khaki pants, I just use my little stick on the fabric and it comes out every time.

I've tried all of the other brands, and THEY DON'T WORK. The stain is still there. This is the only product that does what it says it does. You can't visit a Dry Cleaner when you are traveling because you don't have time. Take it with you in your pocket or purse and you are set.
